About Us

adam-and-jessica-lofbomm1

Adam and Jessica Lofbomm met in Nashville, Tennessee in 2003, married in 2004, and set off on a life committed to creativity and adventure together. They formed Laughing Tree in 2008, as a unifying entity that could bring their various pursuits, be it music, photography, painting or beadwork, under one roof.

Recent work from Laughing Tree includes the first volume in a series of “Laughing Tree Lullabies”, for which they partnered with fellow American in Seoul, Zach Bardon.

They also displayed Adam’s photography work on several occasions in Seoul, most notably for “Unique”, a joint show with Joe Tetrick at Owl Bus in the Hongdae neighborhood. Presently, they are promoting “Laughing Tree Lullabies, Vol. 1” globally. Touring Europe, Jessica is collecting songs and sounds for volume 2 while Adam is taking photographs to share in his future work.

Having worked three years as a professional voice actor in Seoul for such notable clients as LG, Samsung, Piersson Longman, EBS radio, etc., Adam Lofbomm has been plenty busy.  Add to that, regular appearances on a Korean national television show, a personal-turned-professional pleasure in photography, a great knack for connecting people, a passion for philosophy, motorcycles, gear, travel and his lovely wife– and he’s on a roll.  Very recently 30, Adam believes he has entered his most creative and productive decade yet.

Adam is originally from Nashville, Tennessee, the son of two fine artist parents.  He graduated from a prestigious all-boys high school, and with his insatiable hunger for knowledge, art, and beauty, went on to study life.  His years between high school and marriage were spent living in D.C., Boston, San Francisco and traveling extensively in central Asia.  Not long after returning to his home town, he met Jessica, and the adventure continues.

It is believed that Jessica has been singing since her first day on earth.  A native of West Chicago, Illinois, she got an early taste for music and travel through an excellent touring children’s chorus. She continued her music education, majoring in voice at Belmont University in Nashville.  Her love of music and travel have brought her to sing out from such amazing places as the Carnegie Hall risers, Chicago White Sox pitcher’s mound, several Scandinavian cathedrals, Korean television screens, and theme park avenues.  She released her first solo album “Tonic” in 2006.  Shortly thereafter,  Jessica moved to Seoul with Adam and got into voice over work.  Her voice can be heard in the international terminal of Incheon International Airport, the Everland theme park carousel, and many animations and video games.

Jessica’s other interests include hospitality, dogs, reading, her husband, and most recently– belly dance.  She loves to wander around with her handy little Zoom mic and collect the beautiful music of everyday life all around her.
