Last week, Adam and I found ourselves back in Nashville, cutting our six-month tour of Europe down to three. What led us unexpectedly back to the States was an issue with our house, but we’ve found that it was actually pretty serendipitous. We’ve hit the ground running and are making the best of the two-plus [...]

On Photography, 2007

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b2c1S_vsEKw You can thank Daniel Collins for this one. Dan, who was my best man, has for years also been my chief creative agitator and gadfly, often throwing down interesting ideas and challenges meant to spur me into making. Something, anything…for Pete’s sake. And, most often, I am only stirred enough to raise and intrigued [...]

What do you know, I did think of something worth writing about… Tonight I’m teaching my last art class of the twelve-week session. They really want me to do another round, but I’m not going to. Not now at least. I really enjoyed it and everyone seemed to get a lot out of the experience, [...]

Seoul Selection, a weekly newsletter for expatriates, published Adam’s photograph “Kimchi” in this week’s edition. Adam took this picture a few weeks ago while walking around Insadong in Seoul. There was an army of Ajumas (old aunties) preparing kimchi for the winter. Cool, huh? . -Jessica

Cross-training

It’s fun for him. Adam’s is also continuing to do a lot of artistic photography, and he’s thinking [...]
